This is a student project. This page is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

Who we are

Handled AI is a student venture run by University of Calgary students in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are not incorporated. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Calgary. Questions: hellohandledai@gmail.com.

This site is a pre-launch page. There is no live service, no bookings and no payments yet.

What we collect

Only what you type into the waitlist form:

We collect nothing else about you through this site.

Why we collect it

To email you launch updates. If you say you are a pro, we may also ask whether you would do a short research chat. We never sell your information. We run no advertising.

Your consent

The consent box on the form is not ticked for you. You tick it yourself, and that is your express consent to get our emails (Canada's anti-spam law, CASL). You can withdraw it any time by replying "stop" to any email or writing to us. We act within 10 business days.

Where it is stored

Form answers go into a Google Form owned by the team's Google account (hellohandledai@gmail.com). Google is our service provider, and your data may be stored outside Canada. Only the Handled team can see the answers.

How long we keep it

We delete your waitlist data within 30 days of a removal request. If the project ends, we delete all of it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Email us. We answer within 30 days. We aim to follow the principles of Canada's PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and no tracking. Because nothing is set, there is no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics, we will update this page first.

Other companies your browser contacts

Loading a web page sends your IP address to the servers that supply its parts. Ours may include:

These companies have their own privacy policies. Apart from Google Forms, we do not send them your form answers.

This site is not for people under 18. Please do not use the form if you are younger.
